Silverio A. Vega

Silverio “Sal” A. Vega has served Hudson County since 1981. The former mayor of West New York, NJ, Mr. Vega has demonstrated his commitment to the state of New Jersey in various capacities throughout his illustrious career.

During his tenure as Mayor, from 2006 through 2011, Mr. Vega also served as Assemblyman for the State of New Jersey’s 33rd Legislative District from 2006 through 2008. Prior to this, Mr. Vega represented the 7th Legislative District of Hudson County as a Freeholder, where he held the position of Board Chairman from 1999 through 2006.

Daniel J. Gans

Daniel J. Gans serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Hoboken Brownstone Company — one of the nation’s leading innovator of energy-efficient building practices and technology — overseeing the firm’s design, approval process and construction operations.

Mr. Gans career in the real estate industry and expe- rience in the development of community-conscience and environmentally-responsible new home neighbor- hoods dates back more than 30 years when he joined personal friend and partner George Vallone to form the locally-based Hoboken Brownstone Company, Their first project – a renovation of four condominium homes

Laurent Lisimachio

Laurent Lisimachio is a Principal at Gensler, a global Architecture and Design firm. Based in the firm’s New York office, Laurent has over 15 years of experience designing retail, corporate interiors and education proj- ects. Laurent is passionate about sustainability which is an integral part of his designs. Always ready to share his personal approach and design process with others, he is a mentor to younger staff in the office. In addition, he serves as the Design Director for Gensler’s Costa Rica office, leading the interior design of major work- place projects in Central and South America. He recent- ly completed the design of the new Gensler office for 60 employees in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Joseph M. Muniz

Joseph M. Muniz, currently the Board Secretary for the Hudson County Schools of Technology (HCST), has dedicated his career to his community. His acumen in policy-setting, administration and the politics of public service have jettisoned his career and benefited Hudson County in terms of public health, education, and development.

Ruddys Andrade

Ruddys Andrade has dedicated his career to the improvement of the greater Hudson County community. For fifteen years Mr. Andrade served in the Office of Grants and Sponsored Programs at New Jersey City University (NJCU), where he began his career as Program Assistant and moved his way up to Associate Vice President. At NJCU, Mr. Andrade secured over $1.2M for the school’s endowment fund, among other significant funds raised. As the current Director of Community Relations for CarePoint Health Systems, a healthcare service which coordinates efforts from Hudson County’s three main hospitals to provide outstanding care, Mr. Andrade works to ensure quality relationships with other community-based organizations while also serving as liaison for government affairs, working with all local municipalities in the County.

Andrew Campbell

Andrew Campbell is the founder and president of Eastern Millwork Inc. (EMI), one of the nation’s top manufacturers of architectural woodwork for commercial, institutional, and Corporate projects. Mr. Campbell started this company 22 years ago, coming to manufacturing from the store fixture industry after training at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Based in Jersey City, NJ, EMI is recognized among industry leaders as the best of the best. His work has been featured in publications such as Architectural Record, ENR, Custom Woodworking Business, Interior Design, Wood & Wood Products, Vanity Fair, and the European publication Furnier Magazin.

Daniel DeTrolio

Daniel has been employed in various architectural and design firms, starting out as draftsman and moving up to project manager at different firms. In pursuing a career in architecture, the experience he has gained by working in different firms has helped him obtain a well-rounded background. Daniel started out as the firm’s first draftsman and worked his way up to Assistant Vice President at Hartz Mountain. At Hartz, he has done everything from running architectural projects to being a property manager. He was the first person to do purchasing of all the construction trades in an organized department. His present duties are in the Property Development Department and entail coordination and approvals with all of the municipalities and various governmental agencies that Hartz works with.

Jeremy Halpern

Jeremy Halpern, a Vice President of Atlantic Realty Development Corp. is a 3rd generation developer who not only continues to follow the Halpern family legacy of providing New Jersey and New York residents with a broad spectrum of quality homes, but has expanded upon this foundation to include “green”, environmentally friendly construction. Mr. Halpern is proud to be able to deliver to New Jersey and New York residents, state-of-the-art homes at affordable prices, and looks poised to be a major proponent in the evolution of New Jersey and New York homes for decades to come. Mr. Halpern is proud to serve on the board of several other institutions, which also work to continually benefit the great good of society

William K. Hayes II

William K. Hayes, a Builder and Sr. Executive Project Manager at Atlantic Realty Development Corp., is at the forefront of the construction industry implementing new technology in order to build the next generation of residential living. Mr. Hayes received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Management from Towson University. Mr. Hayes expanded on his education by completing a course at Rutgers University in Construction Project Management. Additionally, Mr. Hayes is a Certified Professional Constructor by the American Association of Constructors and is a member of the Construction Management Association of America. Born and raised in New Jersey, Mr. Hayes is excited to partner with HCST in its effort to develop the skill and education of today’s students to ensure that they become tomorrow’s leaders.

Frank J. Gargiulo

Frank J. Gargiulo is the Superintendent of Schools in the award-winning Hudson County Schools of Technology (HCST) school district. With over fifty years in education as both instructor and administrator, Mr. Gargiulo has continually implemented cutting edge technology and embraced progressive pedagogical methods to ensure student success and real-world preparation at all levels. At the high school level, Mr. Gargiulo’s vision and passion helped create High Tech High School and County Prep High School, schools that are continually recognized for their academic excellence.

Vincent J. McFadden

Vincent J. McFadden, a retired School Business Administrator, is working in his fortieth (40) year of education, the last twenty eight being in educational administration. After teaching in Jersey City for twelve years he became the Director of MIS for the Hudson County Schools. After fifteen years in this position he became the School Business Administrator in nineteen eighty (1980). He has most recently been an Interim SBA in Wayne, Essex County Vocational and the Hudson County School Business Administrator. He is also a past President of the Hudson County School Business Officials. Vincent grew up in Jersey City where he attended St. Peter’s Prep and St. Peter’s College. He then received his MBA from Bernard Baruch College. He is married with two children.

Linda J. Quentzel

Linda J. Quentzel began her career at the Hudson County Schools of Technology in 1981. She is the HCST Director of Development and HCST Foundation Executive Director. Linda has over 34 years experience working for HCST. Linda established the HCST Foundation in 2009. The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been promoting education soaked in quality and sprinkled with innovation, empowering the entire district with financial support and community involvement. HCST Foundation actively seeks and welcomes participation not only from business and educational leaders, but also helps create partnerships among parents, alumni and the district in order to improve learning experiences.

Dr. Joseph Sirangelo

Dr. Joseph Sirangelo has over 41 years of experience in urban public schools. Currently the Director of Planning, Research, and Evaluations at the Hudson County Schools of Technology (HCST) in North Bergen, New Jersey, Dr. Sirangelo has utilized his thirty years of school administration to help the HCST District achieve success. As a facilitator of numerous workshops in Strategic Planning, Technology Planning, and Collaborative Action Research, Dr. Sirangelo continually encourages teachers and staff to implement innovative practices and techniques that keep the HCST district competitive in the 21st Century.

Richard N. Campisano

Richard N. Campisano, Esq. is a Hudson County lawyer who has practiced since 1983. A private practitioner of general law since 1999, Mr. Campisano was formerly a partner at Bogart, Ryan and Campisano.

Mr. Campisano’s legal clients include the City of Bayonne Planning and Zoning Boards, the Jersey City Economic Development Corp., the Township of Guttenberg, Statewide Savings Bank, Bayview New York Bay Cemetery Association, and Denholtz & Associates. Mr. Campisano has also served as outside counsel to the County of Hudson.
